I've seen this raw strength only once before. In Ben Solo. It didn't scare me enough then. It does now.

If you strip away the myth and look at their deeds, the legacy of the Jedi is failure, hypocrisy, hubris. At the height of their powers, they allowed Darth Sidious to rise, create the Empire, and wipe them out. It was a Jedi Master who was responsible for the training and creation of Darth Vader.

I'm taking Captain Solo and his friends. You can either profit by this or be destroyed. It's your choice, but I warn you not to underestimate my powers.

Leia: "I know what you're gonna say. I changed my hair."

Iden: "You really trust us to fight beside you?"

That ship saved my life quite a few times. She's the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.

Don't worry. My friend's down there. He'll have that shield down on time. Or this will be the shortest offensive of all time.

Han: "Why, you slimy, double-crossing, no-good swindler."
Lando: "You've got a lot of guts coming here after what you pulled."

I've just made a deal that will keep the Empire out of here forever.

Hope is like the sun. If you only believe in it when you can see it, you'll never make it through the night.

Captain Antilles: "Your Highness, the transmission we received. What is it they've sent us?"
Leia Organa: "Hope."

We are Alderaan. We answer rage with wisdom. We answer fear with imagination. We answer war with hope. If one life with a single drop of Alderaanian blood survives, Alderaan survives.

Niano: "You thank your droids?"
Leia: "It's good manners."
Niano: "You don't need manners when you're talking to a lower life form."

People like you are the reason hope can prevail. Hope is the reason we're going to win.

What is the point of all this if we can't blow up three tiny cruisers?

We keep our door open to my old master Dooku. Sometimes paths diverge, and he is walking a different one than the rest of us. But he is still welcome. Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is central to a Jedi's life. So you might say that we are encouraged to love.

While the congress of the Republic endlessly debates this alarming chain of events, the Supreme Chancellor has secretly dispatched two Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, to settle the conflict....

Thought it was a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. A magical power holding together good and evil, the dark side and the light? Crazy thing is, it's true. The Force, the Jedi - all of it. It's all true.

A flaw more and more common among Jedi, too sure of themselves they are.

The key to hunting Jedi is patience. Jedi cannot help what they are. Their compassion leaves a trail. The Jedi code is like an itch.

The Jedi are trained to let go. They're trained from birth. They're not supposed to form attachments. They can love people – in fact, they should love everybody. They should love their enemies; they should love the Sith. But they can't form attachments. So what all these movies are about is: greed. Greed is a source of pain and suffering for everybody.

Qui-Gon hasn't given up on the fact that Jedi are supposed to care and love and that that's not a bad thing. The rest of the Jedi are so detached and they've become so political that they've really lost their way and Yoda starts to see that in the second film.
