The mourning is endless: my father, my mother, my friends, my city, my world. Every time I fail, I fail them. And no victory is great enough to bring them back.

Qui-Gon hasn't given up on the fact that Jedi are supposed to care and love and that that's not a bad thing. The rest of the Jedi are so detached and they've become so political that they've really lost their way and Yoda starts to see that in the second film.

In my experience, when it comes to Jedi, the worse the plan, the better the result.

I believe, and believe strongly, that the Republic needs Jedi that get their hands dirty, that are part of the Republic's daily life. Jedi that live in ivory towers might be more dangerous than no Jedi at all.

For a Jedi to succumb to a surprise attack is rare. Unless that attack is from someone one would trust.

Dooku: "Do you think the Jedi will truly keep peace if they continue to take everything the Senate says as law?"
Windu: "Luckily, we are guided by our Council and not by politics nor ego."

Anyone can fire a blaster. Very few can safely and skillfully wield a lightsaber. Everyone in the galaxy knows this to be true. We want our opponents to know that we use a weapon that requires intention. Training, precision and choice. The lightsaber symbolizes the care with which we approach our gifts through the Force and the care with which we wield them. It reminds others that while we could do more... we very purposefully do not.

Having a lightsaber isn't what makes you a Jedi. We were peace keepers. We were betrayed by those we protected. Hunted down by the Empire. I might be one of the last of my kind.

The lightsaber is a Jedi's only true ally. But how do they work? Yes, you have brought me crystals, but they're all useless unless you give them life. Do you know how to awaken the Force within the crystal?

A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.

Adventure. Excitement. Ha! A Jedi craves not these things.

My ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we.

Jedi are lapdogs of the Senate. Their bidding always comes first. It's evident throughout the galaxy. Jedi claim peace but mostly keep law and order for the rich and the powerful.

Have you ever been afraid of the dark? How does it feel when you turn on the light? Yes, the Force feels like that.

I always wanted to be a cowboy, and Jedi Knights are basically cowboys in space, right?

I find their tactics ineffective. The Jedi Code prevents them from going far enough to achieve victory, to do whatever it takes to win, the very reason why peacekeepers should not be leading a war.

The Jedi are extinct. Their fire has gone out of the universe. You, my friend, are all that's left of their religion.

Our worst fears have been realized. We must move quickly if the Jedi Order is to survive.

I get so confused sometimes. It's forbidden for Jedi to form attachments. Yet, we're supposed to be compassionate.

If you strip away the myth and look at their deeds, the legacy of the Jedi is failure, hypocrisy, hubris. At the height of their powers, they allowed Darth Sidious to rise, create the Empire, and wipe them out. It was a Jedi Master who was responsible for the training and creation of Darth Vader.

Zorii: "I could pull this trigger right now."
Poe: "I've seen you do worse."
Zorii: "For a lot less."
Poe: "Can we just... talk about this?"
Zorii: "I wanna see your brains in the snow."
Poe: "So, you're still mad?"

We are the spark that'll light the fire that'll burn the First Order down.

C-3PO: "Sir, I am almost afraid to ask...-"
Poe: "Good instinct, Threepio. Go with that."

Poe: "What'd you do to the droid?"
Rey: "What'd you do to the Falcon?"
Poe: "The Falcon's in a lot better shape than he is."

Leia: "Just for the record, Commander Dameron, I'm with the droid on this one."

C-3PO: "My programming forbids me from translating it."
Poe: "So, you're telling us the one time we need you to talk, you can't?"

Finn: "You were a spice runner?"
Poe: "You were a stormtrooper?"
Rey: "Were you a spice runner?"
Poe: "Were you a scavenger? We could do this all night."
